Welcome to Clarity Psychological Services

  I am a Registered Psychologist serving the downtown Calgary area and surrounding communities. I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life. Whether you're feeling stuck in a repetitive pattern that is hindering you from reaching your full potential or are experiencing debilitating symptoms that are impacting your day-to-day functioning, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment that fosters change and growth. My therapeutic style is supportive, yet structured in a meaningful way, to support in helping you in achieving your treatment goals.

Therapy

Many people fear the unknown, which may be why engaging in therapy for the first time is difficult to initiate. I provide an informed and confidential environment during your initial session (and throughout treatment). During your first session, we will review my office policies, privacy practices, and your reason(s) for initiating therapy. From there, we will identify your goals and work toward achieving them over time. Each session is around 50 minutes in length.  The overall duration of therapy sessions required varies for each individual depending on his or her needs. 


I truly recognize that therapy is an intimate and personal experience. My work focuses on ensuring that the therapeutic relationship is in place throughout my time working with you.

 ~ Online Co​unselling ~

To ensure that Clarity is taking both the emotional and physical health of clients into consideration based on individual needs, Clarity will continue to offer online counselling to clients to ensure each individual feels safe and supported based on how they are feeling during this stage of COVID19.


The following is a brief outline of how to access and use this form of therapy service provided by Clarity:


1) Book a session by clicking "Book Now". You will be directed to the online booking site to complete your personal information and pick the date and time you require.


2) Prior to your video session you need to take note of the following: complete your secure profile on line for Clarity, ensure that you have a device (ie. smart phone, computer, tablet, ipad) to have video session, and a second means of communication (ie. phone) in case there are technological issues during video session.


3) On the date and time of your appointment you will be sent a link from doxy.me and you simply click it, click to allow microphone/camera, then your session with therapist begins via video.


4) Consent forms for Telepsychology, which outline specific details to accessing and using this form of therapy, will be sent via secure messaging within clients accounts.


* Doxy.me complies with HIPAA, GDPR, PHIPA/PIPEDA, & HITECH requirements and is approved by the College of Alberta Psychologists.

Natalie Heath

M.A., Registered Psychologist

I am a Registered Clinical Psychologist with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and the founder of Clarity Psychological Services. 


Over the past 12 years I have had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults and families adapt, learn, change, and grow from their personal life experiences. My experience in the helping profession have included the following settings such as counselling offices, schools, and mental health treatment facilities.


My integrative approach to therapy supports individuals with their ability to manage anxiety, depression, life stressors, peer issues, ADHD, self-harming behaviours, self-esteem issues, relationship challenges, manage life transitions, and emotional concerns.

Therapeutic modalities that I use to support each individual with their personal needs includes, but are not limited to, CBT, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Collaborative Problem Solving, Expressive Arts/ Art therapy techniques, and Mindfulness . Natalie's work includes a family centered and trauma informed approached.

Clarity is convenietly located on the corner of Edmonton Trail and 8th street. Cloarity has a private enterance for clients to access. Located along the public transit route if needed. Clarity offers a parking stall for clients on parking pad next to Clarity enterance. There is also free street side parking if needed.

Clarity offers a waiting room for clients where you can enjoy tea, coffee, or water while you wait. Clarity is a space that invites a calm and relaxing experience around your therapeutic experience.
